About The Cazadero

The Cazadero Steakhouse, formerly The Cazadero Inn, is an icon for many who live or travel through Estacada. Located on the beautiful Clackamas River, the Cazadero offers an arrary of 5 star dishes, everything from berry pancakes to house smoked prime rib. We take special care to pick high quality products and prepare our meals from scratch when ordered.

Purchased in May 2018 by Estacada resident, Sherry Andrus, The Cazadero has a special place in her heart. “I will never forget the first time I went to The Cazadero for my 1st year wedding anniversary. I had a window seat by the river when a family of raccoons walked by outside of the window! That, along with the delicious meal, made for a great anniversary!” Now, we see people from all over the United States coming to The Cazadero Steakhouse to relish the spectacular view of the river while enjoying a terrific meal served by our friendly team members.

History

The Cazadero was an unincorporated area located approximately 2 miles outside of Estacada back in the early 1900s near the Cazadero dam. The Cazadero train station served as a stop for transporting Portland residents to the beautiful Estacada area, as well as a train stop for the dam and for the loggers who worked in the area. Owner Sherry Andrus is in the process of bringing that history to life in the restaurant. Working with Mt Hood Model Railroad club and with the skills of her parents, the history will be revealed through a 20 foot model railroad village that will be located at the entrance of the restaurant, welcoming guests as they enter. The village will depict a glimpse of the city of Estacada as it was in the early 1920s. COMING SUMMER 2020.
